Hi
i am using Version: 12.0.0.6535 for sharepoint wss 3.0 for application page developement
and it was working fine recently i am facing an problem with an error
"Exception from HRESULT: 0x80040E14 " whenever i am making updating for an list or an adding
an item to the list i suspect is this ?
1.need to cumulative update need to be done for wss 3.0 from Version: 12.0.0.6535
to Version: 12.0.0.6545 with an update one?
or else what may be the cause for this?

Sorry for delay in response.
You are already on 12.0.0.6535, is there ant error in Event Viewer or ULS logs ?
Normally I recommend to keep your servers up to date with all latest patches and hotfix / service packs.
Please provide more description of the error.
And if you have installed any hotfix recently then please run following command
stsadm -o upgrade -forceupgrade
